About
Dan Salas is the Director of the Sustainable Landscapes Program and UIC's Energy Resources Center where he and the team work on integration of biodiversity and infrastructure. The program facilitates to the Rights-of-Way as Habitat Working Group, which has lead initiatives such as the nationwide Monarch CCAA, At-Risk Bumble Bee conservation agreement, research and tools supporting pollinator habitat on utility scale solar, and other industry collaboration. Dan is a certified Senior Ecologist by the Ecological Society of America and decision analyst certified by the U.S. Department of Interior.
